TMC opens Singapore Branch | TMC

We are very happy to announce that on 20th of January 2016, we are opening a Singapore office and warehouse.

“The TMC business in Singapore has grown both in volume and importance, and we have decided that the time is ripe for establishing a TMC branch in Singapore”, says Mr. Hans-Otto Schjerven, Managing Director of TMC.

He continues: “TMC has been present in Singapore for a number of years already, with Sperre Asia Pte Ltd acting as handling agent. This has been a good business model until now, but with the increasing importance of Singapore as a shipping hub and the growing volume of TMC business in the region, we need to be able to offer our customers even faster and better service, something that we will be able to offer through our new setup in Singapore.”

Under the company name TMC Compressors Asia Pte Ltd, we will establish a team that will handle sales and back-office functions for Singapore and the South-East Asia region.

The Singapore branch will also handle spare part sales and distribution for the region and a separate spare part warehouse will be established in connection with the office.

With the Singapore office and expanded team in place, TMC will be able to provide even better service to the company’s compressed air systems customers in the South Asia region and build solid, long term relationships with key players in the marine and offshore industry.
